History of Christianity is a survey of the Christian faith from its beginnings to the present time with reference to personalities, expansion, division, doc-trines, institutions, polity, cults and literature. Particular attention will be giv-en to the early Church and various efforts throughout history to restore the norms of the first century Church in faith and practice. The attempt will be made to see the history of Christianity in the fullest context of significant political, social and economic forces and events.
