In Kenya, Pastors Wallace and Mary both came to know Christ and each other while in college. Together, they realized that God could use them in reaching thousands of people in the Mathare slum. Their vision was very clear: to serve the needs of orphaned and vulnerable children. Mary directs the school programs where there are nearly 11,000 kids being sponsored as well as the microfinance part of their ministry. Wallace is the pastor at Outreach Hope Center/Church in Mathare, a church reaching their community with the good news of Jesus by meeting the physical needs first and then their spiritual needs.
