Tom McGlinchey was appointed HIU's Vice President for Business & Finance in April of 2019.
Prior to joining HIU's staff, Tom served as Chief Financial Officer of PlainJoe Studios, a nationally recognized design, architecture, and themed fabrication services to churches, parachurch ministries and other clients in the marketplace. He also served as Chief Financial Officer for Provision Ministry Group and its family of ministries for almost 20 years. Provision Ministry Group provided financial resources, management services and leadership support through its family of ministries (now operating independently) to churches in each season of their lifecycle. Earlier in his career, Tom held various financial leadership and accounting roles at the Walt Disney Company.
Tom holds a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from California State University, Fullerton and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles. Tom is also a Certified Management Accountant. He, his wife Shelley, and their two children reside in Irvine and attend Mariners Church.
