While enrolled at Hope, Scott was given the opportunity to work on staff at Downey First Christian Church, first as a youth associate and then as Youth Pastor. In 2003 Scott got married to the love of his life, Linda, and they moved down to Huntington Beach to serve on staff at First Christian Church. In 2006 he graduated with a Master’s Degree in ministry from Pepperdine University. After spending 11 years as a Youth Pastor at FCC in October of 2013 Scott became the Senior Pastor of the church. Together with his wife and their two children they are privileged to be a part of a church that is sold out to its mission of Leading people to recklessly follow Jesus.
