After his dad left when he was five, his mom had to raise him by herself. In fear of abandonment and loneliness, Eddie became addicted to covering his flaws. Not being able to talk about his life drove him to create a fake image in front of others. It led him to hold back in his career, relationships, and in his life purpose. After studying at UCLA and Stanford, Eddie had a great career in finance and the nonprofit world. But he wasn’t free. The secrets of his family and past mistakes kept chipping away at his self-respect. This made him have many anxiety attacks and nervous breakdowns. He then sought mentorship, counseling, and coaching to discover and break through his fears. “Shame keeps us from talking about our deepest needs, desires, and pain.” Eddie now has a passion to care for everyone struggling. There is hope!
