NSO exists to help and support new students as they transition into the Hope community. A number of activities and seminars are planned to prepare new students for their experience at Hope by exposing them to educational opportunities, helping them develop quality relationships, and encouraging them to access campus resources. Orientation is also the time for new students to celebrate as they take this next step, receive instruction and guidance as they transition into the Hope community, including academic advisement in preparation for registration, and much more. NSO is a part of the department of Student Affairs, which strives to provide holistic support for students to grow intellectually, socially, and spiritually.
