The Liberal Arts Major in Criminal Justice provides preparation for students pursuing career options in law enforcement, corrections, and public safety. It may also be used as preparation for law school. Students pursuing the Criminal Justice major will learn about human behavior and its causes as well as crime, crime prevention, law enforcement, public safety, and corrections. The B.A. in Criminal Justice prepares students to be successful leaders in their communities and in the fields of law, law enforcement, and criminology.
Christian ethics are integrated into each course providing students with a solid basis for addressing contemporary social, moral and ethical issues. Students will be able to make appropriate connections between Christian beliefs and social science concepts, theories, and methodologies.
