MTH1185 Liberal Arts Mathematics II (3)



This course is primarily designed for Liberal Studies majors and is the second of two courses to be taken sequentially. Topics include: numeration systems, the real number system, exponential and linear modeling, functions, graphs, and geometry, with an emphasis on problem solving. This course helps prepare students for the mathematical portions of CBEST, CSET, and/or GRE. (Prerequisite: Satisfactory completion of MTH1150)
