Online Courses
Hope offers a variety of fully online programs and courses. Some are designed for the student who has limited access to the Internet, and so are text-based only and delivered via e-mail. All others are web-delivered and use a robust browser graphical interface.

Hope also offers a variety of certificate programs that may be tailored to the student's individual needs, or to the needs of a local organization or church.
School of Professional Studies (SPS)
The School of Professional Studies Certificate programs are focused in Biblical Studies and Ministry. The curriculum is delivered completely online and is accessible to students desiring college-level credit and those seeking personal or professional development.
School of Graduate Studies (SGS)
The Graduate Ministry Department offers the prerequisite courses as full-online courses in the second half of each Fall semester. An additional 12 full-online courses are offered on a rotating basis in the second half of each Fall and Spring semester. These courses are spread across the four major areas of concentration and are all 3 semester units.
Graduate Certificates
- in Christian Leadership;
- in Worship;
- in Church Planting;
- in Inter-Cultural Studies;
- in Church Music.
The Graduate Ministry Department offers a Graduate Certificate in each of the majors of the MA (Graduate Certificate in Christian Leadership; in Worship; in Church Planting; in Inter-Cultural Studies). These Certificates require 18 units of work at normal graduate level, completed with a B-average, at normal tuition rates. Coursework may not be transferred from other institutions for this Certificate.
Certificate in International Development
A certificate program is available in the area of International Development. This program requires the completion of 18 semester units of study in International Development. A bachelor's degree is normally required for admission for this certificate program. These courses may be applied toward a master's level degree. For students without a bachelor's degree, criteria for admission include: 5 years of experience and professional credibility in their respective fields. No Project Laboratory (Final Research Component) is required for a Certificate. Competent students not holding a bachelor's degree must petition.
